Content
Use and application of the English-language International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code with regulations for the maritime transport of dangerous goods in packaged form, including transport tanks, tankers and bulk containers.
- International organizations and international and national regulations;
- Hazard characteristics;
- Structure of the regulations;
- Classification of hazardous materials;
- Identification of dangerous goods;
- Special provisions;
- Exemptions;
- Limited quantities;
- Use of packaging’s, tanks and bulk containers;
- Construction and testing of packaging’s, tanks and bulk containers;
- Marking and labeling of packaging’s and transport units;
- Documentation;
- Prescribed information on the transport document;
- Stowage;
- Separation (mixed loading prohibitions);
- Responsibilities of parties involved in the transport;
Conclusion
If the result is satisfactory, a certificate will be issued showing that the student has successfully completed the course.
